Bacary Sagna calls Eric Cantona 'stupid' for accusing France boss Deschamps of Racism
Bacary Sagna has branded Eric Cantona 'stupid' for fuelling the race row which engulfed the France team in the approach to Euro 2016.
Cantona claimed last month that Karim Benzema, Hatem Ben Arfa and Samir Nasri had been omitted from the squad by Didier Deschamps on the basis of their North African roots.
'It's a choice, it's free speech' said Manchester City defender Sagna. 'It doesn't matter what race you are: French, North African or Chinese. The world is like this.
Jose Mourinho unveils his First United Signing
Eric Bailly has been confirmed as Jose Mourinho's first Manchester United signing after the Villarreal defender passed his medical at Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old, who has only played 40 top-flight matches in his fledgling career, joins on a four-year deal subject to obtaining a work permit and cost United a fee of £30million.
Speaking to the club's official website after the move was confirmed, Bailly said: 'It is a dream come true to be joining Manchester United. To play football at the highest level is all I have ever wanted to do. 'I am really happy to be here at the biggest club in the world.'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic teased Manchester United supporters on Sunday by claiming a 'big announcement' is due on Tuesday.
The striker is expected to sign a one-year deal at Old Trafford this week ahead of the European Championship in France.
Ibrahimovic - who starred in Sweden's 3-0 win over Wales - will be given time away from the international camp by manager Erik Hamren this week.
